Leicester City Football Club is looking to recruit a Security Officer to work at the King Power Stadium.
The position will be permanent, working a basic 42 hour week on a rotating shift basis working days, afternoons and nights.
The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a security role, public safety or law enforcement and have a flexible approach to work.
This must be combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polite and courteous manner. You will need to demonstrate a calm and professional manner in stressful situations.
Duties will include:
• Carrying out safety checks.
• Patrolling all of the Club premises, buildings and office areas.
• Ensuring the well-being and health & safety of the Clubs staff, customer and guests.
• Vetting visitors’ passes and conducting security checks.
• Reporting defects, hazards and accidents, completing reports.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in either Security, Public Safety or Law Enforcement, be a good team player but also able to work on their own initiative and have excellent customer care skills.
A full clean driving licence is essential, as well as being computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
A valid SIA badge and First Aid certificate would be desirable but suitable training would be given to the successful candidate if required.
Experience of dealing with investigations would be an advantage but not essential. Leicester City Football Club is looking to recruit two highly motivated and conscientious individuals aged 16 or 17 years old to directly assist the existing grounds team in the day to day set up and maintenance of the stadium pitch, all the related practice facilities & planted areas within the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and forward thinking grounds team at a Premier League Football Club.
The role would suit anyone with a keen interest in grounds maintenance or horticulture however, no experience is necessary.
The role is varied and duties would include mowing, topdressing and treating turf, seeding, renovating and maintaining all areas that sit within the clubs grounds, maintaining planted areas, servicing machinery and general maintenance work.
You will be expected to work a 40 hour week with time allocated for college studies carried out on site at the Club.
The start and finish times may vary but sufficient notice will be given in advance of any changes.
You may be required to work some home match days. Close Personal Supervision and practical training will be given until you are passed as competent on equipment and tools.
The club will fund an apprenticeship to be delivered and completed within a year via the IOG (Institute Of Groundsmanship) this will help the candidate gain an NVQ Level 2 in sports turf maintenance.
The salary offered is a basic of £7500 per annum plus paid overtime which will be worked, if required on a rota basis.

HOSPITALITY & EVENTS SALES EXECUTIVE Leicester City Football Club is looking to recruit a Hospitality and Events Sales Executive, based at King Power Stadium.
Reporting to the Club’s Head of Hospitality & Events, the successful candidate will be required to generate new business revenue from local and national companies via telesales, field canvassing and face to face meetings.
Experience of working within a busy sales environment with a focus on new business as well as account management is essential. The successful candidate is required to be self-motivated, commercially astute and motivated by results. They are to have an excellent telephone manner, be approachable, presentable and professional. A full driving license is also required. Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Primary objective is to generate new business income, focusing on the promotion and sale of LCFC’s various hospitality products.
• To support and assist in the organisation, administration and delivery of LCFC match days and non-match day events.
• To develop long-term, profitable relationships with all customers, ensuring value for money and continuous repeat sales.
• To maintain and utilize correctly the electronic database and CRM tools provided by LCFC and record all customer contact accordingly.
• To provide regular reports on activity undertaken and provide detailed forecasting on potential new business opportunities, on a defined basis
