An exciting opportunity has arisen within the existing grounds department at Leicester City.
Reporting to the Head and Deputy Head groundsmen you will expected to have a firm understanding of sports turf practices that will include the preparation and repair of all playing surfaces at the football club both at the King Power Stadium and the Training Facility at Belvoir Drive.
The candidate will ideally have an NVQ level 2 in sports turf maintenance or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the sports turf industry and a full clean driving license along with a spraying licence PA1,2a and 6 are desirable but not essential.
In addition the candidate will have excellent interpersonal skill and be able to adapt and work well within an existing team as well as a clear and calm approach to work.
Be willing to work unsociable hours and weekends when required and also have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
