Anthony Knockaert finalised the details of his move from Guingamp on Tuesday to officially become a Leicester City player, subject to standard clearance being received from the Football Association and the Football League.
The 20-year-old winger, whose impending arrival was confirmed by the Club last week, has now completed the formalities of his switch from the French club to become Nigel Pearson's sixth new signing of the summer.
Knockaert, who has signed a three-year contract, has now been added to the City squad for Tuesday night's trip to Nuneaton Town, in what could be a first chance for the Foxes faithful to see the France Under-20 international in action.
City manager Nigel Pearson said: "Anthony is an extremely talented player that will add a lot of quality to the squad, so I'm really pleased we've been able to bring him here.
"We have watched him on several occasions over a sustained period and he has all of the attributes to be successful in the Championship.
"He gives us a number of options going forward as he can play on either flank and I'm sure he'll be a player with the ability to excite supporters."
After terms with Guingamp were agreed last week, Anthony has been training with his new team-mates over the weekend and featured in Saturday's behind-closed-doors match against Lincoln City.
He has been assigned the No 24 shirt for the 2012/13 season and could feature in front of the home fans for the first time this Saturday when Sunderland visit King Power Stadium.
