Leicester City’s Under-18s will kick their FA Youth Cup campaign off with a home tie against Wigan Athletic next month.
The third round match, which must be played by 20 December, sees Trevor Peake’s in-form side handed a tough draw against the Latics, who are unbeaten in their last seven. Last season the young Foxes put in a commanding performance to beat Rotherham United 3-0 at the same stage at a rain-hit King Power Stadium, before they were beaten 1-0 in extra time by Manchester United in the next round.
City’s youngsters have enjoyed a promising start to their campaign in 2014/15, having won five of their last seven fixtures – most recently .
