Date Confirmed For FA Youth Cup

Leicester City’s Academy side will play Wigan Athletic on Wednesday 17 December in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at King Power Stadium.

The Under-18s have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season and currently sit top of the Barclays U18 Premier League, notching five wins in their last six games.
Storming to a 5-0 win over Fulham last time out, the young Foxes will get the chance to play on the same soil as the first team when they host the Latics next month.
After beating Rotherham 3-0 at the same stage last season, Jon Rudkin’s side were eventually knocked out by Manchester United, losing 1-0 in extra time.
But after storming to the summit of the league, losing just twice in the process, the youngsters are in a rich vein of form and will look to continue their success when Wigan come to Leicester.
The opposition have also recorded an impressive string of results, winning five on the bounce, the most recent victory a 5-0 triumph over Fleetwood Town in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Tickets for the clash at King Power Stadium are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
