Dream Come True For Sesay

Steve Beaglehole’s men  (KO 7pm) in their second game of the Barclays U21 Premier League season having just won the Westerby Cup Winners’ Cup, beating Blaby & Whetstone on Tuesday evening.
Speaking exclusively to Foxes Player after the victory, Sesay said: “The team has done well – 4-2 is a credible win – we’ve done the job.
“The boys showed a good attitude and character and great fitness to get the win which are good signs.
“It’s always nice to win silverware – that’s what the game is for at the end of the day – winning trophies – it’ll definitely give us a confidence boost for Monday.”
And the prospect of playing on the same pitch as the first team is something which all of the youngsters are certainly looking forward to.
He continued: “It’s almost what dreams are made of – we’ve all watched the Premier League since we were young and we’re seeing the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea come down to the King Power Stadium – to be on the same soil is a credit to us.
“The fans can expect a good game – we attack, we play forward and we work hard – it’ll be a good game all-round.
“We’re buzzing – we’ve just won a trophy with a good performance so on the back of that we will be going into the Fulham game quite strong and confident.”
Sesay also praised his pairing with fellow centre-half Kieran Kennedy – a core of the side that has flourished into a successful defensive duo.
He added: “Kieran’s a great lad and a great player as well.
“We’ve been playing for over a year now and we understand each other so I think the partnership is going well.” 

Tickets for the game are priced at just £3 for Adults and £1 for Concessions (in the West Stand only). Kick-off is at 7pm.
