Leicester City’s Under-21s side will help Loughborough Dynamo kick-off its 60th anniversary celebrations on Monday night when they arrive at Nanpantan Sports ground for a pre-season friendly.
The match will be the first of pre-season for Steve Beagehole’s highly-rated young side, who are gearing up for a season as one of the 11 elite sides in the revamped Barclays U21 Premier League.

They will certainly be given a tough test against the Loughborough side, who themselves will be keen to start the anniversary their 60th season on a positive note.

The team was founded in 1955 by a group of Loughborough Grammar School students in response to their school dropping football in favour of rugby, and has remarkably survived to this day.

City’s young stars will now help the current crop honour their 60 year history onMonday 21 July (kick-off 7.30pm), and with tickets prices at £7 for Adults and FREE for any Under-16s accompanied by an Adult, there’s every reason to make your way down for what should be an entertaining evening.
