Foxes Thriving In Austria Heat

The close-knit group have welcomed new additions Marc Albrighton, Matthew Upson and Ben Hamer with open arms on the trip, and it seems once again that the team spirit is as strong as ever heading into the Premier League season. 

On Wednesday morning, fitness was again on the agenda, with City’s staff keeping a watchful eye on an early gym session, before getting to work with another session in the pool. 

A round of golf in the sunshine was then the order of the day as the players relaxed in the afternoon, although some chose to make the most of the beautiful weather by remaining by the hotel pool. 

It was soon back to business on Thursday with another dreaded double training session, although City midfielder Matty James did find time to sit down in front of a laptop and field some questions from the Blue Army on social media in the afternoon.

The squad will be packing their bags on Friday for their return to England, after which they’ll focus their attentions on a first pre-season game against Ilkeston FC at the New Manor Ground on Tuesday.
