Away Ticket Priority Scheme Deadline 6pm Monday

Just a few days remain for supporters to secure their place on the Away Ticket Priority Scheme for the new 2014/15 Barclays Premier League campaign.
New for 2014/15, the scheme does not replace the Away Loyalty Points Priority system, which is still in place, but is simply a way for supporters to receive their away tickets automatically.

It is completely free to join and is exclusively open to those current Season Ticket Holders who attended at least seven away league fixtures during the 2013/14 Championship season.

Invitations were sent out to eligible supporters via email and through the post earlier this week, but with the 6pm deadline on Monday fast approaching, supporters are urged to waste no time in securing their place on the scheme.

With the Foxes in the Premier League for the first time in a decade, there is set to be huge demand for tickets to games against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal. Therefore the criteria for places on the scheme is that supporters will be able to attend a minimum of 15 away league games.

Scheme members will be permitted to return tickets for no more than four fixtures during the season, although if a fixture is moved from a traditional Saturday 3pm kick-off time due to reasons such as being live on TV, returned tickets will not count towards that total of four.

Members are permitted to opt out of the scheme at any time with no penalty and will maintain their ticket eligibility. However they will be required to contact the Club to purchase tickets rather than receiving them automatically through the scheme.

Away Ticket Priority Scheme is there to supplement Away Loyalty Points priority, not replace it.

- The process of basing away ticket eligibility on a points system was introduced at the beginning of the 2013/14 season and this will remain for all future away ticket allocations

- All points that have been attained by supporters from the beginning of the 2012/13 season onwards will remain and will continue to be used for ticket eligibility for all away fixtures

- In addition, all 2014/15 Season Ticket Holders will be given a 50 point Loyalty Boost, whilst 2013/14 Season Ticket Holders will also receive a 50 point Loyalty boost.

This means that:

- New Season Ticket Holders will automatically start the season with at least 50 Loyalty Points

- Season Ticket Holders who renewed their 2013/14 Season Ticket this year will start the season with at least 100 Loyalty Points

- The allocation of these additional points is designed to ensure that long-term Season Ticket Holders are rewarded and will remain higher up the priority ladder when away tickets become available

- All points that have been attained by supporters from the beginning of the 2012/13 season onwards will remain and will continue to be used for ticket eligibility for all away fixtures

- If you believe that you did attend more than seven league games last season and are interested in joining, please call 0344 815 5000 (option 1)

- The introduction of the Away Scheme means that the Club can make an informed decision on how large an allocation it should take for an away fixture, factoring in price, distance and kick-off time and date.

What if I miss the deadline to apply?

Realising that many supporters will be holiday etc., we will accept late applications where we can.
