Ulloa Aims To Keep Improving
Ulloa’s goal in the win at Stoke City last week capped a great team performance, and the 28-year-old summer signing from Brighton wants to keep getting better.
He said: “There is a good tradition of Argentinian strikers in England but for me I am not at that level yet of Aguero, Tevez and now Cambiasso who has joined us.
“When I watch games I try to copy their moves and their style. When Tevez stops the ball and shields it from the defenders, I try to learn that, how to lean into the defenders.
“I am a different player, I am bigger but I try to learn different things to be a better player and help the team.”
And with the goals flowing, Ulloa is relishing his time in the East Midlands.
He added: “I am enjoying my time here at Leicester. I am enjoying the training every day. It is good.
“It is different because in the Premier League there is more quality and intensity than in the Championship. But it is not a massive difference. It is okay. I am enjoying the experience.”
Among the Manchester United ranks on Sunday will be a couple of Ulloa’s fellow countrymen in the form of British record signing Angel Di Maria and defender Marcos Rojo.
Despite not having come across them professionally in the past, Ulloa is well aware of their qualities, saying: “I am not friends with them because I have never played with or against them before, but I know they are good guys.
“All the people in Argentina we are different in the north and the south, but they are good guys. I don’t know Di Maria but I know how good he is from watching on the television.”
