BetStars Betting Preview: Leicester City vs. Swansea City

Leicester City welcome Swansea to King Power Stadium on Saturday with fond memories of their last meeting.
Back in April the Foxes took a giant step towards the Premier League title with an emphatic 4-0 win over Francesco Guidolin’s men.

Leonardo Ulloa scored twice after Riyad Mahrez’s opener before Marc Albrighton put the gloss on an afternoon to remember.

The former Aston Villa winger returned to Claudio Ranieri’s starting line up on Saturday evening and is 12/1 to be the first goalscorer this weekend with BetStars and 33/1 to score two goals or more.

And Mahrez could benefit yet again from the 26-year-old Englishman’s return to the side. Albrighton recorded six Premier League assists last season and five of them were setting up goals for Mahrez.

The hard-fought goalless draw with Arsenal on Saturday means it is now 16 matches without defeat on home soil for Leicester City.

The Foxes can count themselves unlucky not to have taken all three points and Ranieri will hope to build on that result on Saturday against a Swansea squad that is likely to include Premier League winning Fox Nathan Dyer.

Leicester City have won the last three meetings with the Swans with an aggregate scoreline of 9-0 and have not tasted defeat at home to the Welsh outfit since 1950, a run of 12 matches.

That emphatic record means BetStars’ odds of 17/5 that the Foxes score three goals or more could be a smart bet.
