Leicester City’s Development Squad will face VfL Wolfsburg, FC Porto and Liverpool in the group stages of the 2016/17 Premier League International Cup.

The Foxes will contest the Premier League International Cup for a third-consecutive season, having reached the semi-finals of the competition during the 2014/15 campaign.

Steve Beaglehole’s outfit faced eventual champions Villarreal, PSV Eindhoven and Norwich City in the group stages of last season’s competition, and have again been handed a tough draw this term.

City will take on German outfit Wolfsburg on Tuesday 11 October (7pm KO) and Portugal’s FC Porto on Saturday 12 November (7pm KO), with a venue to be confirmed, before finally facing Premier League 2 rivals Liverpool at Holmes Park on Saturday 3 December (1pm KO).
