Christian Fuchs wants his Leicester City side to play with a fierce intensity when Crystal Palace come to King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

A spirited performance against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday evening saw the Foxes continue their perfect start in Group G the UEFA Champions League.

Now, Claudio Ranieri’s men turn their attentions to the Premier League, as they aim to build some momentum following Tuesday’s 1-0 win over the Danish champions.

“We’re 100 per cent all in,” Fuchs told LCFC TV. “We haven’t performed this season as well as we did last season in the league, but we’ve played against some big names, especially away from home. At home, we want to come back with a winning streak and get those three points.

“I think the intensity that we played with on Tuesday against Copenhagen was amazing. The spirit of the team was great.

“We went back to the roots of last season. It’s about solid shape and defending well as a block and then using our strength going forward.

“We have a lot of pace up there with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez and this is something that threatens every opponent, especially at King Power Stadium – I don’t think a lot of teams like to come here.”

The Foxes are yet to be beaten at King Power Stadium in the Premier League this term and Fuchs says his side will give their all to maintain that record, starting on Saturday against Palace.

Fuchs added: “It’s very important because you have to make your points at home. Against Crystal Palace, it’s a new chance for us.

“We need to collect more points in the Premier League, but it’s a game like every other one. We’re going to give everything in those 90 or 95 minutes to get three points at King Power Stadium.

“Crystal Palace are a really good side and have a lot of creative players. They have a very good defence with tall guys and they’re strong on corner kicks and set plays.

“It’s going to be a lot of work again, but we’re looking forward to giving everything on the pitch again.”
