Harrison Murray Estate Agency Renews Schools League Sponsorship
Harrison Murray Estate Agency has renewed its sponsorship of LCFC’s Schools League, which sees 550 under-11 boys in Leicestershire teams compete to play on the pitch at King Power Stadium.
The estate agency is part of the Nottingham Building Society (known as The Nottingham) and the sponsorship covers 55 schools across the county.
Each team will play group games organised by Leicester City coaches after school over the coming months with the aim of being part of the semi-finals and finals that will be played at the Foxes’ home ground in May 2017.
The Schools League started two years ago and soon became popular in areas where interest in sport was dwindling. Its popularity grew and in 2016 it became known as the Harrison Murray Estate Agency Schools League.
Su Snaith, Head of Estate Agency, said:“At Harrison Murray we’re proud to be at the heart of our local communities. Working with Leicester City Football Club on the Harrison Murray Estate Agency Schools League project has been brilliant and we are delighted to have renewed the sponsorship.”
Mick King, Community Director at Leicester City Football Club, added: “Harrison Murray are an official community partner that clearly takes corporate social responsibility seriously. Their support for the LCFC Community Trust Leicester Junior Schools Football League over the last 12 months has enabled young people to represent their schools and participate in competitive football.
“For those players who demonstrate an aptitude to improve and develop their game, the competition also provides an opportunity to progress along the LCFC player pathway, to be coached at Development Satellite Centres and to pursue their personal best.
“The vision, passion and enthusiasm demonstrated by the staff at Harrison Murray and the Nottingham Building Society is fantastic and I’m delighted they will be playing an ongoing role in a partnership which continues to have a significant impact on communities across Leicester.”
What’s more, to celebrate the link-up the estate agency is offering one Foxes supporter the chance to win a signed Leicester City shirt in a ‘design a shirt’ competition.
