TRAVELLING FANS   

Three areas of the city have been delegated to LCFC fans; the Riverside area, Gaia and bars adjacent to Trindade District.   

As a point of reference for fans, there will be designated Leicester City stewards in hi-vis coats, with visible ID, located in the centre of Porto.    

Porto Police have experience with UEFA Champions League supporters meaning officers will be tolerant and engage with fans.   

Landlords will be receptive to Leicester fans dressing their hostelry in Club colours. However, the content of the flag or banner must not be derogatory towards any topic or contain colourful language.   

Police require supporters to carrysome form of ID at all times. Preferably a passport or driving license. 

Please be aware that Porto is on high alert due to the current terrorist threat.    

JOURNEY TO ESTADIO DO DRAGAO 

The journey from the airport to Porto town centre is approximately 35 minutes - subject to traffic. The Metro system is simple, quick and easy.   

The Metro will transfer Leicester fans from the centre of Porto to a station opposite the Estadio Do Dragao. Fans should refrain from using local buses. 

Upon arrival to the ground, fans will be directed by police officers and LCFC safety stewards to entrances 19 and 20 for access to the stadium.   

After exiting customs, directly opposite on the other side of the arrivals hall is a bank of three lifts, descend one level, shown as -1, turn either left or right and go past the car park pay stations. 

After approximately 100 yards you enter the Metro hall. The first escalator on the left takes you up to the train.   

Purchase an Andante ticket from one of the four ticket machines (all have English instruction). Cost of a single journey is €2.45 and that includes the .60 cent rechargeable Andante card. 

The machines take both coins and notes and will provide change. Most machines also take credit and debit cards for larger amounts. Eg: monthly passes.   

Porto Police will expect fans to congregate at approximately 6pm local time at the Trindade Metro station for the rail trip to the Estadio Do Dragao. 

Tickets will be free to the mass of supporters travelling on a football special; whereas individuals will have to pay €1.20.   

TICKETS   

The match ticket collection point will be located at the Hotel Eurostars, opening from 9:00am until 6:30pm.    

Supporters will be required to present the passport that they have used to travel and their redeemable ticket voucher in order to collect their actual match ticket. 

All Champions League match tickets will be sold to individual Season Ticket Holders and Members using their unique supporter numbers and must be collected in person by the respective Season Ticket Holder or Member - this includes all concessions and companions.   

We will only issue match tickets to the individuals that they have been allocated to. Therefore, should the name on the voucher and the passport not match, you will not be issued with a match ticket. 

Other forms of ID and photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances.  

All tickets purchased under a Season Ticket Holder supporter number will not be transferable and cannot be used by any other supporter. Supporters are advised to arrive at the ticket collection point as early as possible to avoid delays.   

There will be no opportunity to collect tickets once the facility is closed. Those travelling with the Club’s Thomas Cook supporter travel will receive their match tickets on the flight.   

Fans who do not have a ticket for the fixture are strongly advised not to travel to Porto. Please note, there will be NO ticket sales on the day of the game. 

Tickets are SOLD OUT for the Porto fixture.   

STADIUM REGULATIONS   

Everyone who enters the stadium will be subject to a body search. ID is required to support a valid ticket.   

Any form of bag will be searched. However, Club officials may decline larger bags into the stadium. Persons attempting to enter the stadium with fireworks, smoke bombs or marine flares will be arrested and detained.   

Banned items include drinks, fireworks, sprays and objects with sharp points, sticks, toilet paper and other paper objects. Small flags are allowed into the stadium if they refer to the visiting team and are not derogatory. 

Flags and banners cannot be placed on the fences. Entrance to the stadium will be through designated turnstiles (19 and 20). Kiosks will provide soft drinks, non-alcoholic beer and food pre-match and at half time. 

Only food and drinks purchased in the ground are allowed into the stands. The LCFC enclosure is in the upper tier of the East Stand and is covered to protect fans from the elements.   

Throwing objects and beverages is prohibited. There will be netting across the front and side of the LCFC enclosure. Musical instruments are not allowed into the stadium.    

LCFC fans must remain in their section until police give the stewards permission to release our supporters. The hold back of visiting fans is usually 20 minutes.   

Visiting coaches will be parked outside the stadium post-match. The Metro is opposite the visiting exits and will be prepared for LCFC fans to alight for the return journey into the centre of Porto via Trindade. 

SUPPORTERS WITH DISABILITIES  

Leicester City supporters with disabilities will be located in the upper section of the North Stand. 

Supported by specific facilities and a lift. The capacity of the area is 12 wheelchairs.
