Injury Update: Elliott Moore

Saturday’s Premier League Cup fixture between Leicester City’s Under-23s and Brighton and Hove Albion’s Under-23s at St George's Park was abandoned after 64 minutes following a serious injury to defender Elliott Moore.

After being involved in an accidental collision during the second half, Elliott received treatment on the pitch before regaining consciousness. 

He was taken to Royal Derby Hospital, where precautionary check-ups came back satisfactory. Elliott will remain in hospital overnight for observation. 

The Club wishes Elliott a speedy recovery and would like to thank all medical staff on site at St George’s Park for their swift response to the incident.
