Leicester City jetted off to Los Angeles on Sunday for the American leg of their 2016 International Champions Cup involvement.

The Foxes will spend a week in the LA sunshine as they gear up for a showdown with French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain later in the week at the StubHub Centre.

Claudio Ranieri and his squad arrived at London’s Heathrow in high spirits just hours after registering their second win of pre-season – and first in the ICC tournament – against Scottish champions Celtic in Glasgow.

Riyad Mahrez was on target in that match, with the Foxes triumphing 6-5 winners on penalties after the game was tied at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

It's a full first team squad that are set to link up in LA, with Christian Fuchs and Andy King on board, both of whom had all been given extra time off to recover from their involvement in Euro 2016.

Meanwhile England striker Jamie Vardy will meet up with his team-mates in Los Angeles this week ahead of the PGS fixture.

Alongside their training and playing schedule, there’s plenty planned for the City stars in California, as well as a few special guests – including the Premier League trophy they so famously won in May.
