The stars came out in Los Angeles on Friday for what was Leicester City’s busiest and most exciting day of their California training camp so far.

With a game against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2016 International Champions Cup set to take place on Saturday evening, crowds flocked to StubHub Center for their last chance to see the Foxes train ahead of the match.

Camera crews from across the world set up camp on the sidelines to watch Claudio Ranieri and his team of Premier League winners battle through the heat in Carson, with all of them leaving impressed at what they saw.

Among those watching was legendary Leicester singer and a man with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Engelbert Humperdink, who joined his friend Alan Birchenall on the touchline before getting his hands on the Premier League trophy.

The training itself involved a competitive and entertaining 11 vs. 11 drill as guests from the LA Galaxy and our owners enjoyed from the touchline.

More fun was to come after training as the Club’s community coaches headed out to a training session with young footballers involved with LAFC, who are an expansion franchise set to play in Major League Soccer from 2018.

The franchise are part owned by actor and comedian Will Ferrell, star of films suchs as Achorman and Elf, and he was on hand to greet the Leicester City staff upon arrival, including stars Christian Fuchs and Shinji Okazaki.

The pair brought with them the Premier League trophy for pictures before heading off to meet Wes Johnson from basketball side the LA Clippers for another fun-filled meet and greet.

Both are basketball fans but to get the ball through the net against the 6ft 7ins Clippers star, Christan was forced to hoist Shinji up onto his shoulders for the slam dunk!

The final event of the day was arguably the highlight of the trip so far, as Marcin Wasilewski, Robert Huth, Ron-Robert Zieler and Marc Albrighton gave up some time the day before a game to meet around 200 Leicester City supporters in Ye Olde King’s Head pub.

Leicester City supporter groups from England and the USA were waiting for the lads to arrive, and soon burst into song on what turned out to be a relaxed and fun-filled evening for players and supporters alike.

Those in attendance were also able to get pictures with the Premier League trophy as well as Club legends Emile Heskey and Alan Birchenall before Chief Executive Susan Whelan rounded off the evening with a heartfelt address to the crowd thanking them for their unwavering support of this Football Club.

It’s down to business on Saturday though, with the team heading back to the StubHub Center one last time to take on French champions PSG in their second 2016 ICC fixture.
