LCFC Community Trust Supports ‘Kick It Out’ Campaign

Throughout the month of April, the LCFC Community Trust will be showing their support to the national ‘Kick It Out’ campaign.
Kick It Out is primarily a campaigning organisation which enables, facilitates and works with the football authorities, professional clubs, players, fans and communities to tackle all forms of discrimination.

The LCFC Community Trust are working alongside Leicester City to ensure that all areas of the Club and its community outreach work promotes Kick It Out’s core aims.

Kick It Out helps to promote awareness of the benefits of equality, inclusion, diversity policies and practices in football, as well as expose and challenge all aspects of discrimination, unfair practices and conduct at all levels of football.

They aim to support individuals, groups, clubs and authorities to achieve equality and fair outcomes, while also developing a wider awareness and acceptance of Kick It Out’s activities and its enabling and facilitating roles as a contributory force for good in football.

Saturday’s clash against Stoke City was the Club’s designated annual Kick It Out fixture and the Community Trust have been spreading key messages by delivering equality and diversity workshops across all of its programmes.

The Trust will continue to deliver these workshops throughout April and are fully committed to support the campaign in the foreseeable future.
