Each player was given three attempts to score past Hinch, who rose to national prominence with her star-studded performance at Rio 2016, when she saved all four penalties in the Final against the Netherlands. 

Albrighton succeeded, emerging victorious by scoring two of his attempts, with Fuchs and Simpson both managing to find the back-board on one occasion. 

Following the hockey shootout, the challenge took an unexpected twist as the Leicester players took football penalties against Hinch, before Fuchs padded up to try his hand in goal. 

Reflecting on the players’ performance in the challenge, Hinch said: “I think they did well, they focused a bit too much on me at times rather than the ball, which meant there were a few swings and misses. 

“They’ve definitely got plenty to work on but it was a very good effort and they managed to score a couple of good goals.”
