Places Still Available on Summer Football Courses

Young Foxes looking for something to do this August are being encouraged to join the LCFC Community Trust’s Summer Football Courses. 

Suitable for four to twelve year olds, the courses are run by experienced LCFC coaches who will teach young players about a range of football skills, from heading to passing, and from shooting to turning on the ball. 

During the courses, participants will also be taught tactical and technical aspects of the game to help them improve as a player. And those who show promise have the opportunity to progress through the LCFC Play Pathway. 

From Monday 8 August, the Summer Football Courses are taking place at a number of venues throughout Leicester, including: 

- Cedars Academy – Monday 22 August until Wednesday 24 August 

- Lutterworth Academy – Monday 8 August until Friday 12 August 

- Newbridge High School – Monday 22 August until Wednesday 24 August 

- Wigston College – Monday 22 August until Wednesday 24 August 

- Beaumont Leys High School – Monday 8 August until Friday 12 August 

- Wreake Valley – Monday 8 August until Friday 12 August 

- Soar Valley – Monday 15 August until Tuesday 16 August
