Byrne Joins Bury

The Dublin-born midfielder, 19, has signed a two-year contract at Gigg Lane, after the two clubs reached an agreement for his transfer this week.

After turning professional with City a year ago, Shane enjoyed a profitable loan spell with the Shakers last season, making 16 appearances for the League 1 side.

He departs with the best wishes of everyone at the Football Club.
