Sixth Annual Respect Fixture Announced

The match, taking place on Saturday 26 October, 3pm kick-off, will see Leicester City and the day’s Sky Bet Championship opponents, AFC Bournemouth show their joint support of the FA-backed national RESPECT campaign.

Staged in partnership with the Leicestershire & Rutland, and Hampshire County FAs, the fixture will welcome Grass Roots clubs from across all levels of the game to show their support for a campaign that is increasing in popularity, and importance, every year.

As part of the Club’s successful Grass Roots scheme, thousands of children have already played their part in helping to promote the message of respect in football since the first FA RESPECT fixture six years ago, making this one of the season’s standout matches.

Backed by the new RESPECT campaign video and with the weight of English Football’s governing body behind it, this year’s fixture promises to be one of the Club’s biggest to date.

Young footballers from across the county will be invited to take part on the day, with great-value tickets available to registered Grass Roots member clubs and a wealth of memorable experiences available including several chances to be involved in the matchday experience.

Alongside the usual Player Escort, Guard of Honour and Shake the Shirt experiences, the Grass Roots team will also be gearing up for one of the biggest half-time parades of the season, with every Grass Roots participant invited to walk a lap around the magnificent King Power Stadium pitch.

Tickets are available now for this year’s FA RESPECT fixture, priced from £20 adults while Under-10s go FREE in the Family Stand.
