Ulloa Exclusive In Sunday's CITY Matchday Magazine

City look to continue their impressive start to their Barclays Premier League campaign when Arsenal travel to King Power Stadium on Sunday.
Having bagged the first of two equalisers against Everton in the Foxes’ opening league fixture, Leonardo Ulloa features in this weekend’s CITY Matchday Magazine.
The former Brighton hitman explains how his father predicted he will score on his debut, how the Club have helped him settle well in the city and his respect for his side’s footballing ability.
But having already opened his goal account in what is considered to be one of the toughest leagues in the world, Ulloa knows there’s plenty more work to do if he wants to make a substantial impact on the Premier League.
Speaking exclusively to CITY Matchday Magazine, Ulloa said: “It’s obviously more difficult than in the Championship because the defenders are stronger and have more quality on the ball.
“When we’re attacking, you have to work hard to break them down and when we’re defending we have to work very hard to get the ball back, so it’s very intense!”
And Argentinian forward has noticed the gulf in defensive talent between the Sky Bet Championship and the Premier League, noting that you have to work much harder as a striker to recover the ball from the opposition’s possession.
He continued: “The defenders don’t make many mistakes, whereas in the Championship you can often recover the ball high up the pitch when you press, which is much better for the team.
“It’s more difficult in the Premier League because the defenders have so much quality in possession.”
