Albrighton: It Will Be Some Atmosphere

Those four wins for the Foxes have lifted them out of the relegation zone, and with a game in hand over two of the three teams below them, they know any change they can get out of the champions-elect will be a huge bonus. 

“The last two home games have been special occasions,” Albrighton told Foxes Player. “Obviously winning the games helps, but we need the fans on side and they’ve been terrific with me when I’ve been playing. 

“They’ve created massive atmospheres and the other lads felt the same. I’m sure it’s going to be even better on Wednesday night. Night games are even better and have better atmospheres anyway. This place is going to be rocking. 

“Obviously it’s a massive ask. We’ve just won four on the bounce and everyone is looking to us to take it to Chelsea, which we will do. 

“We’ll have a right go at them. I’m sure this place will be rocking under the lights against probably the champions-elect. 

“It’s going to be some atmosphere. We’re looking forward to it. It’ll be a tough game but one we’ll relish.” 

While much of the talk will be about the visitors, Albrighton is sure that they won’t be looking forward to facing the Foxes after the run of form they’ve enjoyed of late. 

He added: “They won’t be coming here thinking it’s going to be an easy game, that’s for sure. 

“They know that we gave them a game at their place earlier in the season and they’ve seen our performances of late. 

“They know we’ll be confident and what to expect from the crowd and fans here on Wednesday night. They’ll be wary of us.”
