Barmby Represents England U20s

Development Squad winger Jack Barmby played 90 minutes in England Under-20s’ victory over Mexico at Barnet’s Hive Stadium on Wednesday.

Barmby has recently hit form for Steve Beaglehole’s Under-21s, earning a call-up to Aidy Boothroyd’s side in the process.
The young Lions’ beat Mexico 4-2 on penalties after the fixture finished 1-1 in normal time – Arsenal’s Chuba Akpom with the goal for England.
Barmby could again be involved for England when they next host USA in Plymouth on Sunday 29 March.
Meanwhile, Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was an unused substitute for Denmark in their 3-2 triumph over USA on Wednesday.
A hat-trick from Nicklas Bendtner sealed the friendly win for Schmeichel’s nation, who next face France in another friendly match in Paris on Sunday 29 March.
