Birch Battles Through 36th Annual Run
- Birch raised funds for the LCFC Foxes Foundation’s chosen charities with a 90-minute run ahead of the victory over Everton
- Donations can still be made online or in person
Leicester City Club Ambassador Alan ‘The Birch’ Birchenall smashed through the pain barrier to complete his 36th Annual Run in aid of the LCFC Foxes Foundation on Saturday.
Since 1981, Birch has completed a 90-minute long run around the pitch, and this weekend was no different, as he battled against the heat ahead of City’s 3-1 win over Everton.
Birch, accompanied by his army of fundraisers, completed his gruelling run to help raise funds for the LCFC Foxes Foundation’s chosen charities for the 2015/16 campaign.
Sponsored by Mark English at MJE Contracts, Upton Steel and Humphreys Estate Agents, Birch’s run has accumulated funds for Leicester Hospitals Charity, Once, We Were Soldiers, Royal Volunteer Service, Warning Zone and the Lord Mayor’s Appeal – Place 2 Be and The Sparks Art For Children.
