Young footballers in Leicester are being urged to book their place on one of the LCFC Community Trust’s Easter Football Courses early to avoid disappointment.

Following the huge demand for places on our February half-term courses, we are running Easter courses at 13 locations throughout Leicester – and we’re encouraging young footballers to book their places early to avoid disappointment. 

The courses which are one or two days, depending on the location, will teach young footballers about heading, shooting, dribbling, passing and turning with a football, whilst also teaching the technical aspects of the game and team play. 

Each course is run by experienced LCFC Community Trust coaches, whilst LCFC Academy staff also run a Talent Identification scheme, giving promising players the opportunity to progress through the LCFC Player Pathway. 

Every participant on one of our courses will receive a medal and certificate for taking part, with special prizes for competition winners and the chance to take part in a penalty shoot-out in aid of the LCFC Foxes Foundation. There’s also the chance to meet Filbert Fox*. 

Prices for the courses start at £8 for Junior Fox Members and £13 for non-Junior Fox Members, while 2015/16 Season Ticket Holders get 20% off for them and their siblings. 

Places are expected to sell out quickly, so to avoid disappointment we are urging young footballers to book their place early.
