Even from the outside it’s clear that this Leicester City team share a special bond. It’s a togetherness and spirit that has driven them to achieve the unthinkable – a Premier League title.

For Club captain Wes Morgan, it’s difficult to find the words to define what exists within the squad, but there’s one thing he’s certain of – each player will give everything for the team.

Chelsea’s 2-2 draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night ensured the Foxes couldn’t be caught at the top of the table, earning a title that many are calling one of the greatest sporting achievements in history.

Morgan’s goal against Manchester United on Sunday meant that a draw for Spurs would guarantee the title and when it arrived, there was an outpouring of joy from Leicester fans in the city and around the world.

The magnitude of the achievement is such that, like the team spirit, is not easily put into words.

“I can’t describe it,” Morgan told Foxes Player HD. “It’s an unbelievable feeling for everyone involved in Leicester including me and my family. Everyone. The staff too. For everyone who is involved in supporting us in doing the best on the pitch. It’s unbelievable and it’s still sinking in.

“There’s such a togetherness in the team. The boys, we support each other, back each other and we’d die for each other on the pitch. I think that’s why we’re in the position we are and we’re champions of the Premier League.

“I was looking at the trophy last night and just the look of it is unbelievable. I can’t wait to lift it. I didn’t ever think I’d have my hands on it so to know that I’ll be grabbing it and lifting it in front of the home fans is fantastic.”
