Leicester City’s Under-18s will kick-off their 2015/16 FA Youth Cup campaign with a home fixture in the third round against either Cheltenham Town or Barnet.

The young Foxes’ run in the Youth Cup last season will be remembered for years to come after they became only the second side in the Club’s history to make it to the semi-final of the prestigious competition.

Victories over Wigan Athletic, Chesterfield, Southampton and Birmingham City eventually saw City beaten in the last four by Manchester City, who went on to win the competition.

Trevor Peake’s outfit will learn of their third-round opponents on Tuesday 17 November when Cheltenham Town take on Barnet in the second round.

Barnet won 3-1 at Boreham Wood to set up a tie with Cheltenham, who beat Swindon Town 5-1 to make it to the second round.

Full details of the fixture will be released on LCFC.com in the days following Chesterfield’s clash with Barnet.
