Young defender Joe Davis has joined Sky Bet League 1 side Fleetwood Town on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell.
The 22-year-old has made nine appearances in the league for the Cod Army since first joining on loan back in October, helping to keep Steven Pressley’s side clear of the drop zone in the process.
A powerful centre-back, Davis has previously experienced the Football League with former club Port Vale while he has been a regular member of City’s Development Squad in recent seasons.
