Dodoo: Play With Freedom

City's Development Squad have been in irresistible form in recent games, winning seven of their last 10 fixtures in all competitions – a run that started with a 1-0 Barclays U21 Premier League victory over the Toffees back in January.
And with three goals in his last two games, including a brace against Liverpool on Monday, Dodoo is hoping his side can continue their superb run of results by progressing to the semi-finals of the Premier League International Cup.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” Dodoo told Foxes Player. “Everton play with high intensity like us, so it’s going to be a good battle.
"We’re hoping to start well and carry the form we’re in into the game. Hopefully the win against Liverpool will give us a confidence boost."
Victories against Schalke, Benfica and Manchester City saw the Foxes top Group C of the competition, conceding just twice in the process.
Dodoo added: “Our 100 per cent record in the group stages is one that we’re really happy about. We’re new to the European format, so for us so far it’s a great achievement being able to get past the group stages and into the quarter-finals.
“We’re just hoping that we can carry that on. We’ve got to play with no fear. It would be fantastic to get to the semi-finals, not just for us as players but for the Club as well. We've just got to get on with the job and make sure we win.”
