Nathan Dyer believes that with the Blue Army roaring them on, Leicester City can keep making giant strides in the Barclays Premier League.

The winger joined on a deadline day loan deal from Swansea City earlier this month and crowned his first appearance with a rousing winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Aston Villa.

It was a win made even more impressive given that Claudio Ranieri’s side were 2-0 down with 70 minutes left to play, until goals from Ritchie De Laet, Jamie Vardy and Dyer sent King Power Stadium wild with celebrations.

It was once again an atmosphere created by the supporters to rival any in the Premier League and despite Dyer having sampled it as an opposition player before; even he was taken aback by the noise.

<div ><br /><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“Unbelievable,” he told <a href="http://www.player.lcfc.com" target="_blank">Foxes Player HD</a> about the Leicester City fans. “I remember I was on the bench at Swansea last season when Leicester won and the fans were outstanding. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“They gave me a great welcome and I just wanted to repay that with a great performance and I ended up with a goal too. Hopefully that can continue and especially with the fans behind the team, we can keep pushing forward. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“The boys have got a never say die attitude and we showed that [against Aston Villa]. I think last season they played really well and didn’t come away with some results that they should have had. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“This season we’ve started like a house on fire and we just needed to keep that momentum going, especially after the international break.” </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Dyer was introduced as a half time substitute and wasted no time in not only making an impact on the game, but also making himself an instant hero thanks to his winning goal. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Dyer also revealed just what the manager told him as he went onto the pitch. He said: “Just to play my own game. He’s seen me play before and he just wanted me to express myself and just get on with my own game. He likes to play with wingers, I was pleased with that and he has just let me play my game.</div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“He wants me to get involved with the goals and take my man on. With the pace that we’ve got and the attacking threat that we’ve got, we can cause teams problems. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“It was a bit of a bonus for me coming in on the back of the international break, because I had time to settle in. Not everybody was here for the first week, but it gave me time to settle in and meet the staff and players and get down to work. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">“It was nice to see how Leicester play so I can fit into the team. The boys came back [after the international break] and it was all go from there. I had two weeks of training with the boys, they’re a great bunch of lads and I was excited to come on against Villa and play.”</span></span></div><div><a href="http://www.foxandcropclothing.co.uk" target="_blank"><img xlink:href="tcm:0-2367360" title="F&amp;C_SS15_StoryBanner" alt="F&amp;C_SS15_StoryBanner" style="width: 480px; height: 100px;" /></a><br /></div></div>
