February Football Coaching Courses

- Two and three-day courses available, with split groups for four and six year olds, and 7-12 year olds 

- Medals and certificates for all participants, prizes for competition winners 

- Opportunities for promising players to progress through the LCFC Player Pathway 

During February half-term, give your child the opportunity to show off their football skills at one of the LCFC Community Trust February Football Coaching Courses, which will be taking place at five locations throughout Leicester. 

Our courses are split into two age groups: one for those aged between four and six years old and another for seven to twelve year olds. 

Whether your child wants to be a solid central defender like Wes Morgan, a midfield-maestro following in the footsteps of Danny Drinkwater or a prolific striker like Jamie Vardy, our courses will teach them the vital skills they need. 

Throughout the courses, experienced LCFC Community Trust coaches will teach the youngsters about heading, dribbling, passing, turning and shooting, while they’ll also be taught about team play – helping each child taking part to improve their footballing skills. 

Every child taking part will receive a medal and certificate, while the LCFC Community Trust coaches will also be handing out prizes to competition winners. 

There will also be a visit from Filbert Fox and a penalty shoot-out, in aid of the LCFC Foxes Foundation, at each venue. For those promising young players taking part in the February Football Coaching Courses, there is also the opportunity to progress through the LCFC Player Pathway, with the LCFC Community Trust coaches carrying out a Talent Identification at each venue.
