Fuchs Reveals Premier League Dream

The left-back, who can also operate on the left side of midfield, is known for his deadly deliveries and pin-point set-plays, and will add a wealth of international and club experience to the Leicester squad. 

Fuchs is more than aware of what it takes to perform at the top level after contesting three consecutive seasons in the Champions League with Schalke, and believes he will be playing in the greatest league in the world when he dons a City jersey next campaign. 

“I’m happy that I’ve signed for Leicester City,” Fuchs told Foxes Player in an exclusive interview. “It was always a goal for me to play in the Premier League, and I’m happy that this dream has come true. 

“Everybody watches the Premier League. I think it’s the best league in the world. Leicester City is a new experience and new challenge for me.” 

Fuchs labelled the Premier League as the best league in the world, and having already played in Austria and Germany, believes the English game will further his vast footballing experience at the top level. 

“It’s (the Premier League) a very intense league, it’s simply one of the best leagues in the world, if not the best one,” Fuchs told Foxes Player. “You have to work hard on yourself. 

“When you experience different leagues, you experience a different kind of football. For sure, the Premier League will be another big step for me, even though I’ve played against a few teams here already. I’m really looking forward to it.”
