Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kanté continued the Club’s involvement on the international stage on Monday evening, helping France to a 3-2 friendly win over Cameroon in Nantes.

Kanté made his debut for Didier Deschamps' men against the Netherlands back in March, before scoring on his first start for his nation against Russia just four days later.

That impressive form, alongside some sensational performances for Claudio Ranieri’s Barclays Premier League-winning Foxes, earned the combative midfielder another call-up for France ahead of Euro 2016.

Kanté’s third appearance for Les Bleus came on Monday evening, as he replaced Lassana Diarra at half-time to help France battle to a friendly win against Cameroon at Stade De La Beaujoire.

It was Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi who gave the hosts the lead early on, before Porto’s Vincent Aboubakar equalised for Cameroon shortly after.

Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud restored France’s lead before the break, and while Cameroon equalised for the second time with just two minutes to play through Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, West Ham United’s Dimitri Payet converted a stunning 30-yard free kick to win it for his side.

Kanté could potentially be in action against Scotland on Saturday 4 June, while further international representation for the Club could come on Tuesday, when Harry Panayiotou’s St. Kitts and Nevis and Christian Fuchs’ Austria both play.
