King Gets Wales Euro 2016 Nod

Leicester City midfielder Andy King has been selected by Chris Coleman in Wales’ final 23-man Euro 2016 squad. 


The Club’s leading goalscorer from midfield has made over 30 appearances for his nation, most recently against the Netherlands at Cardiff City Stadium in November. 


King played 29 times in all competitions for the Foxes in 2015/16 and became just the fourth Welshman to win the Barclays Premier League alongside Ryan Giggs, Mark Hughes and Clayton Blackmore. 


Now, King will hope to help Wales overcome a tough Euro 2016 qualifying group, with the potential of coming up against team-mate Jamie Vardy, who received a on Tuesday afternoon. 


Wales face Slovakia on Saturday 11 June, England on Thursday 16 June and Russia on Monday 20 June following an international friendly against Sweden on Sunday.
