Moore’s England Shirt Auction Success

Bernie, who has supported the Foxes for over five decades, will get to meet the Academy graduate and have the shirt Liam scored his first international goal in signed by the defender in person before Club Ambassador Alan 'The Birch’ Birchenall gives him a full tour of City’s training ground in his own special style!
After putting in a winning bid of £1,149.50, Bernie said: “I’ve been a fan for over 50 years, and I’ve watched Alan Birchenall play for Leicester City throughout that time.
“He’s a wonderful person to have as Club Ambassador, and all the work he does for charity, including his end of season runs, are brilliant.
“It’s for a great cause that will help children across the country, so I’m really pleased with it. “Liam Moore’s generosity is fantastic as well – it’s great from him to donate his England shirt to charity, and I hope he goes on to earn a full cap in the future.”
All proceeds raised will go to the LCFC Foxes Foundation and their chosen charities for the 2014/15 season.
