Pearson: Kramaric Adjusting Well To ‘Unique’ League

The Croatian starlet signed from HNK Rijeka earlier this month and has made two appearances in a blue shirt since joining the Foxes.
Kramarić completed 73 minutes in his most recent outing – – and has adapted well to life at Leicester, according to City boss Nigel Pearson.
“He’s settled well,” Pearson said. “I suppose the thing about coming into the English game, if you like, is the speed and intensity. You could argue that all leagues have moments in the game where the tempo is exceptionally quick.
“The thing to get used to more than anything, I suppose, in a team like us is the number of high-speed actions during the game. There’s a lot in the English game – it’s renowned for it.
“The Premier League is dominated, for the most part, with overseas players, and lots of coaches from overseas. I still think the English game has a pretty unique entity, which is good.
“I think he’s got a game which is more than capable of being successful. That’s why we were looking to bring him in. I’m sure he’ll adapt pretty quickly and have a positive impact for us.”
Pearson also noted that Kramarić’s time on the pitch at White Hart Lane proved to be productive given he faced a team that City will come up against on the same soil at the end of March, this time in the Premier League.
He added: “We went into the game with Spurs with four strikers and that’s as positive as we can be. That was another benefit of the cup game. Andrej had an opportunity to get a start where really, in some ways, there’s less pressure.
“It gave him an opportunity to become more acclimatised to Premier League opposition. It was quite an eventful game in that respect for him on a personal level. I’m sure he’ll get up to speed very quickly.”
