Signing Session Success

Many supporters took the opportunity to get the pair to sign their newly purchased Leicester City merchandise – making Christmas presents even more special for their loved ones this year. 

On the eve of a busy period of Christmas fixtures, there was excitement in the air in the Fanstore as the supporters clamoured get have their moment with the City stars ahead of the weekend’s crunch clash with league champions Manchester City on Saturday. 

Speaking during the event, Jeff said: “It’s always great to be able to interact with the fans and give a bit back to them, even if it’s something small like signing autographs and taking pictures. They give us so much support, so to come out and meet them like this and thank them for that is always great. 

“It’s great to be doing it with Liam too, as we’ve played together for years at this Club and we used to get autographs from players ourselves, so to be on the other side is a dream come true.” 

Liam added: “The support we get from the fans is fantastic. It’s been great all season and we need it more than ever now, so for Jeff and me to take a few hours out of our day to do this is something we’re delighted to do. 

“I used to get signed squad photos of Leicester City when I was younger, so I know what it’s all about for the youngsters that come along, and I think I’m as pleased to speak to them as they are to me. Their support can definitely give us that extra few per cent on the pitch.”
