Leicester City’s Under-18s returned to winning ways with a Barclays U18 Premier League victory at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

The young Foxes took a commanding 3-0 lead in difficult conditions thanks to strikes from Josh Eppiah, Toby Fura and Admiral Muskwe.

Saturday’s hosts pulled one back, but all three points went to Trevor Peake’s outfit, who moved third in the table following the win.

Reflecting on the game, Under-18s manager Peake told LCFC.com: “It was a 3-1 win and we scored all three of our goals in the first half. It’s a very open pitch at Brighton so the wind made it really tough for both teams.

“We won the coin toss and luckily had the wind with us in the first half and therefore managed to get three goals to hold them at bay.

“Josh Eppiah and Toby Fura netted for us, while Admiral Muskwe scored yet again, which is really pleasing for both him and us.”

City next face a trip to U18 Premier League-leaders Chelsea on Saturday 28 November.
