U21s Preview: Leicester City vs. Manchester United

Read a match preview on the Barclays U21 Premier League fixture between Leicester City and Manchester United at King Power Stadium on Monday 20 April, 2015 (7pm kick-off).

Leicester City’s Development Squad head into Monday’s Barclays U21 Premier League fixture with Manchester United knowing a win could move them top of the table.
It would be a remarkable achievement for the Foxes, who at the start of the season, had their sights firmly set on top-flight survival.
But after excellent victories over current Champions Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in recent games, City are now just two points off the league-topping Red Devils.
Leicester were pushed all the way by Everton last time out, beating the Toffees 4-3 on penalties after 120 minutes of entertaining football to make it to the Premier League International Cup Semi-Final.

Manchester United are in equally as impressive form as the Foxes, losing just once in their last nine league fixtures.
Last time out, a double from Josh Harrop and a strike from Joe Rothwell secured a 3-2 win over a battling West Ham United side, having recorded an impressive victory at Everton in the previous game.
United will be looking to reverse the scoreline from their last clash with City, where former Red Devil Jack Barmby hammered in a last-minute winner against his old club back in November.
Now top of the table, the men in red have five games left to reclaim their title from Chelsea, having won the league back in the 2012/13 campaign.

Having scored an injury-time winner against his old club last time these two sides met, winger Jack Barmby will be the one to keep an eye on on Monday evening.
Barmby has impressed out wide all season, also performing well in unfamiliar left-back and central midfield roles.
The lively forward represented England Under-20s last month and also enjoyed a loan spell at Championship outfit Rotherham United earlier in the campaign.
With electric pace and a vast passing range, Barmby is certain to be a threat when Manchester United come to King Power Stadium on Monday evening.
