Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been confirmed in Roy Hodgson’s 23-man England squad for Euro 2016. 

Vardy, who scored 24 Barclays Premier League goals for Leicester City to help them secure their first-ever top flight title, has found the back of the net in his last three appearances for the Three Lions, including winners against Germany and Turkey. 

Vardy was pivotal for the Foxes in their Premier League-winning season and will now hope to transfer his displays onto the international stage for England. 

After a friendly clash with Portugal at Wembley Stadium on Thursday, the Three Lions kick-off their Euro 2016 Group B campaign against Russia on Saturday 11 June, before fixtures against Wales on Thursday 16 June and Slovakia on Monday 20 June.
