The Foxes Trust

Posted on: Mon 16 Jan 2012

Pieces of the Walkers Frieze, the decorative curtain previous lining the roof of the formerly-named Walkers Stadium, have now been made available to fans via eBay thanks to the efforts of the Foxes Trust.

All proceeds from the lots are being donated to the LCFC Foxes Foundation's One In A Million campaign. Thanks to the generosity of the Leicester City fans, the amount raised currently exceeds £2,000.

Many winners have already collected their piece of history and we have been hearing why the particular pieces were "special to them". We hope to feature stories in future months on where the pieces now reside, together with accompanying images, here on lcfc.com and in City Official Matchday Magazine.

If you have not yet been successful in obtaining an iconic piece of Leicester City history, it is not too late. A further batch of lots will be released in mid-January 2012, so keep an eye on the Matchday Magazine, the Foxes Trust website (www.foxestrust.com) and www.lcfc.com for further details.

Alternatively you can contact matt.davis@foxestrust.com directly, or search on ebay.co.uk using the key words 'Leicester City Frieze'.
