4th City's hopes of Wembley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy disappear at the Don Valley Stadium, as Mark Robins' Rotherham run out 2-0 winners. Matty Fryatt sees his added time spot kick saved.
7th City sign free-agent, former Derby full back Marc Edworthy on a short term contract. Edworthy's most significant previous contribution to the Foxes' cause was to upend Muzzy Izzet in the penalty box at Wembley in 1996, leading to City's equaliser in the Play Off Final, then to foul Emile Heskey for the free-kick that led to Steve Claridge's late winner.
  
8th Edworthy makes his debut as the Foxes ease past Stevenage Borough 3-0 in their first taste of round one of the FA Cup since 1924-25.
11th Atul Sharma joins board of directors. City beat Yeovil 1-0 in their game in hand to return to the top of the table.

16th Aleksandar Tunchev called up for Bulgaria for friendly v Serbia in Belgrade on November 19; Joe Mattock in England Under-19 squad to face Germany at Colchester a day earlier.
18th Mattock misses out on all the England U19 action at Colchester.
19th Tunchev plays for the first half in the Bulgarian team that crashes 6-1 to Serbia, where the Serbs also missed two penalties.

27th A busy emergency loan deadline day sees one new player in - Mark Davies from Wolves; and three players out - Barry Hayles to Cheltenham, Eric Odhiambo to Brentford and Joe Magunda to Woking. Joe Mattock wins the 2008 Football Achievement Award from the BBC East Midlands.
29th Matty Fryatt nets his first Foxes' hat-trick to sink Dagenham & Redbridge in the FA Cup. He also has another ruled out for offside, so misses out on being City's first four-goal man for 50 years. Mark Davies makes his debut as a second half substitute.
