Leicester City players will take to the pitch during the 2009/10 campaign wearing special gold sleeve patches on both home and away shirts.
The colour change differs from the traditional Coca-Cola red in recognition of the club's League One title victory.
And Foxes supporters will soon be able to purchase the patches from the City Megastore at the Walkers Stadium and online at LCFC Direct to apply to the 125th Anniversary jerseys.
Meanwhile, the Football League have announced that all clubs will be required to name seven substitutes in matches during the forthcoming 2009/10 season.
However the proposal, put forward by Derby County Football Club, will still mean only three of the players will be allowed to enter the field of play.
