Foxes Fan Scoops Prize

Posted on: Thu 18 Jun 2009

Following our hugely successful 125th anniversary Joma kit competion Billy Wakefield 16, from Quorn was selected out of the near 1000 entrants who correctly guessed that wing wizard Max Gradel was the City star pictured.

The young Quorn local paid a visit to the Walkers Stadium today to claim his prize of the record breaking 125th anniversary kit.

When asked about the new shirt Billy expressed firstly his surprise at not only winning the competition but also complementing the quality and comfort of the new kit compared to last season's offering.

Citing Muzzy Izzet as his favourite all time City player and Steve Howard his current, Billy said that he will be hoping the latter can score the goals to push the team onto his hoped for mid-table placing:

"Following last season it was good to bounce back, but hopefully this season we can look towards at least mid table and build from there"

Like Billy you too can wear your colours with pride this season with pre-orders still being taken ahead of the shirts official instore launch on 4th July.
