Leicester City Football Club have today announced a five-figure, one-year sponsorship of the 'Kop' stand with worldwide leaders in low-energy lighting, JCC Lighting.
The deal will include naming rights for the stand, along with comprehensive branding and PR opportunities, including advertising hoardings within the stand and associated publicity on the football club website and via the club's various media channels.
JCC Lighting's Managing Director, Dave Dawkins, said: "Leicester City Football Club is a great family club that we are delighted to be associated with. We are a leader within our market and this partnership is fantastic value when considering the coverage that this will give to our company."
He added: "I have been a lifelong supporter, since my dad took me to see my first game in 1972 when we beat Coventry City 1-0 thanks to a goal from Lenny Glover. I'm pleased to be in a position to support the club and despite being based on the South Coast, my lifelong love-affair with the club will continue."
Dawkins clearly believes in the methods of City boss, Nigel Pearson too.
"He is a great manager and is exactly what the club needs. I'm delighted that we bounced back at the first time of asking and I believe we have the players and the manager to push on this season."
Leicester City Football Club Chief Executive, Lee Hoos, said: "All of our stand sponsorships, with the exception of the East Stand are now taken, which is extremely positive news for the club."
He added: "It is of great personal pleasure that we are now associated with such an environmentally conscious company as JCC Lighting. They share our business ethics and perspective and their loyal support of the football club will be rewarded twice over during the coming year."
Leicester City Football Club Senior Sales Executive, Harj Hir added: "JCC Lighting are a new and valued partner for the club to work with and we will endeavour to provide an excellent platform for them to receive the exposure and branding that we feel they deserve locally, nationally and worldwide."
He added: "When initial discussions took place with Dave, we tailored a package to suit their needs and help their business to grow. We are aware of the current economic market and are keen to provide value for all of our partners by listening to them and learning about what we can do for them."
