Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson's masterstroke in completely changing his attack with a triple substitution paid big dividends as it brought an equaliser in their 1-1 draw at Coventry.
Of the three introduced on the hour mark, two made the goal, Steve Howard heading on for Martyn Waghorn to finish, with DJ Campbell the other man coming off the bench to good effect.
Following on from the midweek win at Middlesbrough, the draw showed City's character once again and Pearson said: "I think we can go to most places and try to win. There is always an element of risk when you open the game up, but with the players we had available there was the chance of scoring goals. It was worth the gamble and all in all, they didn't cause us too many problems. It was a risk worth taking."
The game could have gone either way though. The Sky Blues opener being slightly against the run of play in the first half, though, and Pearson added: "I thought overall we were the better side. We fell behind to a good strike from a free-kick. It is a decent point but it is one where we will reflect on it and feel we might have done a bit better."
"Both sides fought very hard for the points in windy conditions that did not lend itself to be a particularly attractive game at times. Having said that, we had a relatively positive outcome so I am fairly pleased."
The Blue Army travelled to the tune of nearly 5000 and Pearson said: "They were fantastic. It is always encouraging to have a vocal following and they played their part today. Hopefully they enjoyed it. It would have been nice to get three points but we live to fight another day."
