After the two-week break the Foxes could hardly have a better game to return to action, the classic local rivalry with Derby County at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.
The Rams are languishing in the bottom half of the table, whilst City are going well, but when it comes to a derby, that goes out the window.
City Assistant Manager, Craig Shakespeare, said: "I think it is a huge game for both clubs. We have had the international break and everybody is raring to go. They have had a couple of good results recently, not done too badly away and are looking to get back to winning ways at home. Not only the supporters, but the players and staff are looking forward to an exciting game."
"They put the bad result against Cardiff behind them. We treat everyone here the same, with respect, and it will be about what we can do on Saturday."
"Whatever side they put out, it will be a tight game I am sure. They will be bold and it will be a hard game for both teams."
There will be some reunions in both camps. The Rams have been skippered recently by Robbie Savage, a great favourite of the Blue Army, while the Rams fans will need no introduction to Steve Howard and Matt Oakley.
But there should be no sentiment, as Shakespeare said: "Whenever you play against any of your old teams and when you have put in so many years of good service as they have done, I am sure they will all get a good reception from both sets of fans."
"You always come across that in football, but everybody will tell you that they will do what they can for the club they are playing for."
Back from international duty are Andy King, who came on as a late substitute for Wales in Liechtenstein and Ryan McGivern who played the whole game for Northern Ireland in the Czech Republic.
Shakespeare said: "Andy King played ten minutes so we are expecting no problems there. Ryan McGivern played the whole game and if we have a clean bill of health we want that headache of a selection problem."
"We want competition for places which is good but again we will make an assessment and go from there."
Competition is especially fierce up front with Yann Kermorgant, Martyn Waghorn and DJ Campbell all featuring in the same bracket as Howard and Matty Fryatt.
Shakespeare said: "We will be assessing Derby's weaknesses and what we think are our strengths and we will pick a team we think will win the match."
