Nigel's men are travelling to the Saturday away fixture with a fully fit first team. The manager spoke exclusively to Foxes Player, evaluating Scunthorpe's recent form and our chances to top up our points tally.
"Scunthorpe is a tough place to go to. Nigel Adkins has done a great job there considering their recent history in terms of promotions and relegations. The Iron have bounced back the hard way through play-offs. They have done particularly well for a small club over a sustained period. It speaks volumes for the sort of culture they have at their club," Nigel said.
Focussing on the game, he added: "We have to be at our best. I know their form has not been great of late, but they have beaten Newcastle at Glanford Park this season. No doubt it is going to be a tough game.
"We have to make sure our preparation is right. We are looking forward to it. We have been playing pretty well ourselves. It is a division in which, when you work hard, you've always got a chance. On top of that, we all believe that we've got a pretty talented squad."
All Leicester's key players are fully fit, causing Nigel Pearson a pleasant kind of selection headache, to which he said: "I like this kind of headache. I'd always rather have the full squad to choose from. It presents a different challenge. I don't see it as a problem - it is nice to have selection issues. We'll keep them guessing!"
